Our story
Furaha Ministries was born from a moment of profound compassion. When founder Annette Nalubega encountered a young boy selling vegetables on the streets of Kampala, she witnessed not just poverty, but lost potential. This child, living with his elderly grandmother and forced to work instead of learn, represented thousands of others facing similar circumstances.
That day, Annette made a choice: to confront not just the immediate crisis, but the systemic challenges that rob children of their futures. From that single moment of compassion grew Furaha Ministries—a beacon of hope for Uganda's most vulnerable children.
Today, we stand as a testament to what happens when compassion meets action, when individual moments of care transform into systematic change that touches hundreds of lives each year.
